  Absolutely DO NOT take your vehicle here. I took my 68 Westfalia in to have a wheel bearing replaced while I was on the road and the mechanic who also claims to be the boss did not put the all the parts back together when he reassmebled everything. He was kind enough to stay late to help me out. I made it just down the road before realizing the noise that caused me to bring the van into the mechanic persisted. At that point the shop was closed, and I assumed I had the sound was actually coming from the transmission and had bigger problems to deal with once I got where I was going. Once I made it to my destination I found a vw mechanic and about a mile from the shop the rear wheel with the new bearing locked up. I had to be towed the rest of the way. They popped the wheel off and tadaaa: the wheel spacer seal was missing which meant the drum wasn't on tight enough and caused all the spines inside the drum to wear out which prevented the wheel from turning. I called the shop who initially did the work and the mechanic insisted on telling me he did everything correctly even though I have photo evidence of that being false as I was present when the other mechanics took everything off. He then lectured me saying I shouldn't have driven my car with the noise persisting and waited until the next day to have him fix it, which I could have done, if I was not late getting to my job in southern Oregon. To finish off the conversation he hung up on me. So terrible customer service, terrible workmanship.
